Description :
Seasonal herbs, vertical, 40 to 50 cm high. Apparent stems, grooved, forming a rhizome, green color. Single leaf, shape lanceolate, flat edge, pointed tip, base obtuse, dark green color. Compound interest, the form of grain, narrow, pointed tip, from 3.5 to 5 cm long, from 1.5 to 2 cm wide, flower crown funnel shape, from 2 to 2.5 cm long, purple. Fruit oval, brown color.


Chemical Composition :
Essential oils zingiberena (zingirona), zingiberen, bisabolena, curcumin, gingerol, fellandren, and bitter resins.

Benefits :
Carminative, stomakik, stimulant, and diaforetik.
Ginger can be divided into two types.
1. Bitter Ginger.
2. Red Ginger
